Eclipse CX Midnight

JLCooper have made a number of improvements to the Eclipse CX, based on user suggestions. Overall, their goal was to shadow the overall appearance of the panel to reduce light emission and intrusion on colorist's eyes. They did this by going to all white LEDs, reducing the LED intensity, changing to white LED time code display and adding additional filters to neutralize the colored VF display. They've enhanced the feel of their trackballs by adding teflon and they also changed to a more pro look with the new "Midnight" finish. They're also adding individual reset buttons to each of the 6 encoders above the trackballs on Eclipse CX Midnight and Eclipse SX Midnight. This is a frequently requested feature. Need more details? Eclipse SX Midnight

Eclipse SX Midnight has all of the same improvements as Eclipse CX Midnight, but that's not all. The new Eclipse SX Midnight has the unique ability to be used with any application that supports the MCS-Spectrum, MCS-3000/Spectrum combined or Eclipse CX. That means that it can be used as a stand alone controller with Apple Final Cut Studio and Color! Colorists who want only the trackball section, have limited desktop space, or a limited budget, can use the Eclipse SX by itself. This makes it their most affordable option for Color users. It's also great for use with Assimilate Scratch, IRIDAS Speedgrade, IFX Piranha Cinema, DVS Clipster and others.  But there's more...

Eclipse TX Midnight

Eclipse TX is a completely new Transport controller, designed to be used with the Eclipse SX. Eclipse TX works as a stand alone controller or as an expansion option for Eclipse SX. It features the JLC jog/shuttle mechanism with custom, weighted, jog wheel and a concentric shuttle ring, professional transport buttons and 23 function keys with white LED indicators. When combined with Eclipse SX, it’s a modular, lower cost and compact alternative to Eclipse CX. This combination provides most of the key features of Eclipse CX with a 25% smaller footprint and it's about $1200 less. This configuration also provides for left or right handed users and offers the possibility of having a keyboard or tablet in the center of your workspace, between the 2 controllers.

Eclipse MX Midnight

Eclipse MX Midnight lets you perform real-time automated audio mixing in Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, Logic and most audio software. It’s a professional-quality, motorized fader control surface, with controls placed conveniently at your fingertips. It’s the perfect complement to the Eclipse CX, with a matching enclosure style and “Midnight” finish. It can be physically mated with other Eclipse Family products using the new Eclipse Joiner Kit. Eclipse MX features 8 touch sensitive, motorized faders, 32 switches and built in MIDI I/O. Eclipse MX connects to the Eclipse CX using a supplied modular cable, and communicates with your computer via a single interface card in Eclipse CX, SX or Eclipse 24.
