Rhozet Announces Significant Additions to Carbon Coder at NAB!

From new fingerprint technology with YouTube to Arbitron-trackable content, Rhozet adds exciting new technologies to their Carbon Coder and Carbon Server platforms....

Carbon Coder Integrates YouTube Fingerprint Technology

Rhozet's Carbon Coder™ transcoding solution can now be used as a delivery platform for generating ID files for YouTube’s Content ID System. This development allows Carbon Coder users to automatically generate an ID file or so-called “fingerprint” of the video content they own during the transcode process. Using YouTube’s Content ID System, they may then upload these ID files to YouTube and use them to automatically identify their content in user-uploaded videos on YouTube and apply “usage policies” that have been specified by the content owners regarding how they want matched content to be handled by YouTube, such as monetize, track usage statistics or block content. Aspera Integrates Rhozet Technology for High-Performance File Transfer

Rhozet's Carbon Coder universal media transcoding solution will be integrated into the Aspera high-performance file transfer environment. Aspera’s faspTM transport technology enables the quick and efficient movement of large files over wide area networks (WAN), delivering maximum transmission speed regardless of file size, transfer distance or network conditions. The integration of Rhozet into Aspera workflows allows users to further optimize delivery by specifying media transformations that would be performed at either end of the transport pipeline. Trackable Content for Arbitron

Rhozet's Carbon Coder universal transcoding technology has been selected by Arbitron for use in its media research services. The integration of Rhozet Carbon Coder with Arbitron audience measurement technology will provide media companies with a seamless method to watermark content during the transcode process so that it can be measured and included in Arbitron’s media research services.
